Lauren's first children's book is called "Do Families Grow on Trees?" and is the story about a little girl named Eva who, when asked to create her family tree as a homework assignment, gets confused about where families come from and looks to her grandmother for guidance. Together they learn more about what a family tree really means.

There are currently three versions of the book available: English, Spanish and a bilingual version for dual reading. Do Families Grow on Trees?/¿Crecen las familias en los árboles? is meant to be a book that can educate while having fun all at the same time!
